5.what news did shadrach bring back?when he came home he brought back that he could not stay that long beacuse he had to go back and help fight in the war. he also had to help bring back blankets and other things like food and coats and blankets. he also brought back that the war was getting worse so he couldnt stay that long.

3. When Shadrach came home he said that he couldn't stay very long because he had to go back and fight in the war. He also said that the war was getting worse. He also said that he had to bring back supplies like blankets, food, and coats for everyone in the other soldiers.

Shadrach brought back the bad news that he couldn't stay because of the war. The war was getting realy bad and they needed his help. He helped by bringing food and drinks for the peopple that lost them. Jenny was realy sad because she wanted to marry him.
